06/09/09 - Summer Camp Schedules for Weeks 1 & 2 are now finished and will be posted on the Summer Camp Page! Click on the Theme Title to view schedules...they are filled with fun activities created by all of our wonderful Summer Camp Staff!

05/27/09 - Tomorrow, May 28th, at 3:30 pm, we will be hosting the Youth of the Year Panel. Five nominees will be giving speeches and answering questions from our panel judges. The Youth of the Year will be announced at our Summer Sizzler on June 6th, 2009!

April Youth of the Month - Montanna Macey

03/30/09 - We had an awesome time celebrating National Boys and Girls Club Week! Congratulations to Hope Mayo, winner of the BGC Essay Contest, and Tesha Coy, winner of the BGC Spirit Poster Contest! And...the results of the penny drive are in! The Elementary group beat out the Middle School by a margin of about 500 pennies! Overall, both programs raised over $120 for their club! Alright!
Spring Break Signups are still going on...if you want to lock in the Early Bird Rate of $65, you have until Friday, April 10th. After that, the cost is still just $75 for the whole week!
We are now accepting Summer Camp applications! Until Friday, May 1st, the cost per week is $65! Don't miss the opportunity to lock in the lowest rate in the North Country for the longest daily hours around! We pack our schedule full of exciting theme-based activities all summer long, and take one field trip per week to places like Whale's Tail, Fun Spot, Forrest Lake, and more! We will be posting more information soon, so keep checking, or call us at 838-5954 with any questions!!

03/06/09 - Lots of things are happening this Spring at the Boys and Girls Club! Right now, for the month of March, we are holding our first ever Penny Drive! The Elementary & Middle School Programs are competing against each other to see which group can bring in the most pennies during the month of March. Winners will be announced on Friday, March 27th! Just a note: So far, the Elementary group is winning by a LOT of pennies! Get going Middle Schoolers!

We will be celebrating National Boys and Girls Club Week from March 23d-March 27th. We have an exciting schedule planned which you can download here. There will be poster & poetry contests, a Guitar Hero tournament, a visit from Ray Burton, and a Family Night at the end of the week. 02/09/09 - Sign up NOW for a 4-week introductory Jujitsu class beginning Monday, February 16th! This is a BGC Member exclusive course and the cost is $5 per class. Call 838-5954 for more information or stop by the club to fill out a release form!

01/29/09 - We have introduced a BRAND NEW official BGCA Program! Club Tech (pictured right) teaches kids basic computer skills and how to use and understand programs in Microsoft Office, as well as how to create their own digital movies and music!
